Company History

Our Founders - 1984

Electro Acoustics, Inc. was founded in Fort Worth, Texas in 1984 by Chris and Sue Jordan. Originally an audio and video contracting firm, we have been involved in many exciting projects including Bass Hall in Fort Worth, The Ballpark in Arlington, Texas, and Ericsson Village in Richardson, Texas. Our contracting efforts continue today, serving the most well respected design and consulting firms in the country. We have grown into both a contracting firm and a design-build firm. Included in our design-build projects are hundreds of churches, corporations and civic projects, such as McKinney Memorial Bible Church in Fort Worth, Lewisville City Hall in Lewisville, Texas, and Amon G. Carter Museum in Fort Worth. We serve worship, institutional and corporate clients in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and their locations worldwide. The primary reason for our growth from a contracting firm to include design-build services is that we hire and retain some of the best engineers, designers and technicians in the industry. We all realize the importance of taking responsibility for our projects, and the best way to accomplish that is to offer design, engineering, installation and system support services.
